Quarr Abbey - Community Retreat
For the third year running the Ramsgate Community joined with the
Quarr Community to hold their annual Retreat at Quarr Abbey on the Isle
of Wight from 8th to 13th September 2003.
The Retreat was preached by Sister Mary Margaret Funk of the
Monastery of Our Lady of of Grace in Indianapolis, U.S.A.. Sister Meg is
a specialist in the works of John Cassian, and Executive Director of the
Monastic Interreligious Dialogue. Our pictures show her with some of the
monks in the monastery garth.
